Three mechanisms. One on-demand nasal spray. The most comprehensive compounded blend for sexual performance.
Sexual response is not one switch — it’s three. Vascular (the physical response, blood flow, erection or engorgement), central desire (the brain wanting the experience), and emotional connection (presence, bonding, climax intensity). Most single-agent sexual health products only address one of these.
The Sexual Performance Blend targets all three at once: Tadalafil (PDE5 inhibitor — vascular), PT-141 (melanocortin-receptor agonist — central desire), and Oxytocin (the bonding and orgasm neuropeptide). Compounded into a single intranasal spray — peptide-friendly delivery that bypasses the GI tract, with rapid onset via the nasal mucosa.
Used by both men and women. Your provider matches the dose and timing to your goals during intake.

Sexual Performance Blend
Oxytocin 60 IU/mL (600 IU total)
PT-141 2.5 mg/mL (25 mg total)
Three actives, three peer-reviewed evidence bases.
Each ingredient is studied independently in published clinical trials. The blend is a compounded combination not separately FDA-approved as a finished product.
Individual results vary. Compounded combination products are not FDA-approved as finished drug products — each active is FDA-approved (Tadalafil/Cialis, Bremelanotide/Vyleesi) or has FDA-approved indications (Oxytocin/Pitocin) for separate uses. Use as a combined sexual-performance blend is off-label and prescribed at provider discretion. Results from single-agent trials may not directly translate to combined-formulation efficacy. Prescription required.
Three actives, three distinct pathways — same dose.
Tadalafil — PDE5 Inhibition
Tadalafil blocks phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5), the enzyme that breaks down cyclic GMP — the molecule responsible for relaxing smooth muscle and enabling blood flow into the penis and clitoris during arousal. With PDE5 blocked, cGMP accumulates, vessels dilate, and the vascular response to arousal is amplified. Half-life ~17.5 hours — the longest of any PDE5 inhibitor. Intranasal absorption gives slightly faster onset than oral.
PT-141 — Central Desire
PT-141 (bremelanotide) activates melanocortin-4 receptors in the hypothalamus and other CNS regions involved in sexual motivation. Unlike PDE5 inhibitors, which act on the vascular response, PT-141 works upstream — on desire itself. FDA-approved as Vyleesi (subcutaneous) for women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder; widely used off-label in men. Intranasal delivery is an alternative compounded route that crosses the blood-brain barrier well, with onset typically within 30–60 minutes.
Oxytocin — Bonding & Climax
Oxytocin is released in the brain during intimacy and peaks at orgasm. It modulates emotional connection, trust, and climax intensity. In published trials, supplemental intranasal oxytocin (24 IU) increased orgasm intensity, post-coital contentment, and partner-directed empathy. Intranasal delivery is the established research route for oxytocin's central effects. Pairs with PT-141 (desire) and Tadalafil (vascular) to address the affective dimension of sex.

What to expect — minute by minute.
Minutes 0–30
Spray your dose 30–45 minutes before anticipated intimacy. Intranasal absorption begins within minutes. PT-141 starts engaging central desire pathways; oxytocin peaks early. Many patients report a subtle shift in mood, presence, and arousal sensitivity during this window — before any physical effect is felt.
Minutes 30–90
Peak combined effect. Tadalafil reaches active concentrations; vascular response to arousal is amplified. PT-141 desire effects continue to build. Oxytocin contributes to emotional presence and bonding. This is the typical window for intimacy.
Hours 2–24+
Tadalafil's long half-life (~17.5 hours) means the vascular effect persists beyond the immediate session. PT-141 effects decline within hours; oxytocin window is shorter (~1–2 hours). The tail effect is mostly from the tadalafil component.
Single-active vs the Sexual Performance Blend.
Each ingredient hits a different part of the sexual response. Single-active products often work for one piece while leaving others untouched.

Safety and what to monitor.
Each active in this blend has its own cautions. Combining them does not eliminate any individual contraindication — disclose all of your conditions and medications during intake.
⚠ Critical Contraindications
Nitrates (Tadalafil): Absolute contraindication. Tadalafil combined with any form of nitrate — nitroglycerin tablets/spray, isosorbide mononitrate/dinitrate, or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrite, alkyl nitrites) — can cause profound, potentially fatal hypotension. Do not use this blend within 48 hours of any nitrate. Guanylate cyclase stimulators (riociguat) are also contraindicated. Blood pressure (PT-141): PT-141 transiently raises blood pressure. Disclose any cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or recent stroke during intake. Pregnancy (Oxytocin): Oxytocin can cause uterine contractions. Contraindicated in pregnancy outside of medically indicated obstetric use. Hypersensitivity: Discontinue immediately and seek medical attention if rash, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing occurs. Severe hepatic / renal impairment: Tadalafil dosing is adjusted in liver and kidney disease — disclose any history.
Frequently asked question
Why a blend instead of separate prescriptions?
Each active works on a different mechanism — Tadalafil (vascular), PT-141 (central desire), Oxytocin (bonding/orgasm). Patients seeking a comprehensive sexual response often end up stacking multiple prescriptions anyway; the blend simplifies that into a single on-demand dose and offers more consistent dosing relative to a self-stacked combination. Your provider will discuss whether the blend or separate products is the better fit during intake.
How do I take it?
The blend is supplied as a 10mL multi-dose nasal spray bottle. Your provider will give you exact instructions on number of sprays per dose, timing, and which nostril(s). Plan ahead — administer your dose roughly 30–45 minutes before anticipated intimacy. This is an on-demand product, not a daily medication. Avoid blowing your nose immediately after dosing.
Can women take this?
Yes. PT-141 (bremelanotide) is FDA-approved as Vyleesi specifically for women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder. Oxytocin’s effects on sexual response are documented in studies of both men and women. Tadalafil is primarily studied in men, but is used off-label in women and contributes to vascular response (clitoral engorgement, lubrication-supportive blood flow). The blend is positioned as unisex. Important: oxytocin is contraindicated in pregnancy — women of childbearing potential must disclose pregnancy possibility during intake.
What if I'm already on a nitrate for chest pain?
This blend is not appropriate. Tadalafil combined with any nitrate (nitroglycerin, isosorbide, or recreational “poppers”) can cause severe, potentially fatal hypotension. If you’re on nitrates, disclose this during intake — there are alternative sexual health products that don’t carry the same interaction (e.g., the standalone PT-141 or Oxytocin pages may be relevant). This is non-negotiable.
Is the headache really that common?
Yes — headache is the most commonly reported side effect of both PT-141 and tadalafil individually, and the blend stacks both contributions. Severity varies; most users describe it as mild and short-lived (the typical research framing is “transient, no intervention required”). If headaches are persistent or severe, your provider can adjust the dose volume or recommend alternative protocols.
Will it interfere with my SSRI?
SSRIs and SNRIs commonly blunt sexual desire, arousal, and orgasm — this is a common reason patients ask about products like PT-141 and oxytocin specifically. There are no direct drug-drug interaction concerns between SSRIs and this blend’s actives. Disclose all medications during intake — your provider will assess fit and timing.
How does this compare to the standalone Tadalafil, PT-141, or Oxytocin pages?
Each standalone product targets one mechanism. The blend targets all three in one on-demand dose. Some patients prefer the standalone approach for cost, simplicity, or to isolate the active that works best for them — others prefer the all-in-one. See: Tadalafil, PT-141, and Oxytocin Nasal Spray for the single-active options. Your provider will help you decide.
Important: Sexual Performance Blend (Tadalafil 50mg / Oxytocin 600 IU / PT-141 25mg per 10mL multi-dose intranasal spray bottle) is a compounded prescription product prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy. The individual active ingredients are FDA-approved (Tadalafil/Cialis for erectile dysfunction; Bremelanotide/Vyleesi for premenopausal HSDD in women; Oxytocin/Pitocin for obstetric indications); the combined intranasal formulation is not separately FDA-approved as a finished drug product; intranasal tadalafil and intranasal PT-141 are off-label compounded routes (PT-141 is FDA-approved as subcutaneous Vyleesi). Prescribed off-label at provider discretion.. Tadalafil is absolutely contraindicated with any nitrate or guanylate cyclase stimulator. Oxytocin is contraindicated in pregnancy outside of medically indicated obstetric use. PT-141 can transiently raise blood pressure and may cause focal hyperpigmentation with repeated use. Disclose all medical history, current medications, and pregnancy status during intake. Compounded combination products are not FDA-approved as finished drug products and their safety/efficacy as a combined formulation have not been independently verified. Individual results vary.
